Through our partner, the Coordinadora, we support a variety of activities to build the Local Zone of Peace. Recent projects include:
The Romero Memorial Tree Project
The Cybercafe -- Providing educational opportunities, communication, and income
Adios Tattoos Project -- Reintegrating former gang members into society
Mangrove Radio - Community radio in El Salvador's Bajo Lempa
Wood-Saving Stoves -- Reducing deforestation and improving health
The Youth Art Project -- Providing skills and positive activities for at-risk youths

- The New Model Home
- Floodproof Homes -- for Earthquake Victims.
- Building Homes and Community -- creating a permanent residence for the Coordinadora and the 35,000 people it represents.
The Agriculture School --Introducing organic agriculture techniques and helping community members become the teachers.
Irrigation -- Allowing farmers to grow crops year-round and reduce their vulnerability to flooding.
The Credit Fund Project -- providing small loans to women, men, and cooperatives so that they can help themselves.
The Chicken Project -- giving a boost to household incomes and nutrition.
