The Cybercafe

Located along a busy highway, the Coordinadora's Mangrove Cybercafe opened in San Nicolas in August of 2004, allowing hundreds of community members access to the Internet for the very first time. Now much needed communication and information is available to dozens of rural comunities, providing homework assistance and a connection to family and friends outside the country. This fledgling business venture one day hopes to generate needed revenue to further sustain the local area.
