The Komachin Middle School Fundraiser

In response to the earthquakes that have hit El Salvador, the students at Komachin Middle School in Olympia, Washington, came together in solidarity with the 2,500 families that were left homeless in the Bajo Lempa and Bay of Jiquilisco.  They raised more than $1,000 dollars to help the Coordinadora rebuild.  Through their personal donations, the sale of val-o-grams, and selling rootbeer floats, they demonstrated that students can make a difference.
