| Photo
series by Scott Martin. "Taken
from a larger series, 'The Face of Usulutan,' these images
come from the Southwestern region of El Salvador, an area
that saw brutal fighting during the 12-year civil war. Five
years after the war's end, the community continues to rebuild
itself both emotionally and physically. These images were
taken during a visit to this area in July of 1997. I hope
that the many faces of Usulutan reflect the hope and confidence
this community showed to me." |
