The Foundation for Self-Sufficiency in Central America builds justice and peace through empowerment.

We work in partnership and solidarity with low-income communities in Central America organized to achieve environmental sustainability, economic self-sufficiency, social justice, and peace.

The Coordinadora is a Salvadoran campesino peasant movement working in eighty-six communities to address poverty, hunger, violence, and a lack of skills and education.

The FSSCA and the Coordinadora work together to empower rural communities at the grassroots level, supporting them in project design, creating local leadership and skills, and ensuring that programs truly meet local needs.
